Description

You will design and integrate structural components and propulsion systems for an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft. You will own the full prototype development process from requirements to testing, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to advance sustainable air mobility.

Requirements

• 5-15 years of engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Proficient in CAD (Solidworks, NX etc.) - NX preferred
• Experience designing complex metallic parts and weldments
• Fluent in GD&T and creating manufacturing drawings

Responsibilities

• Design structural components and own integration of propulsion systems for full scale prototype aircraft
• Design metallic parts and assemblies for propulsion mounting and structural interfaces
• Own prototype development process: requirements, design, BOM, procurement, assembly, test
• Perform structural analysis and hand calculations to verify component margins
• Conduct FEA on metallic structures and mounting systems
