💼 About This Role

You'll teach a Resource Room for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder at Dwight Rich, ensuring they receive world-class instruction in a safe environment. You'll work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and students to build inclusive classrooms and help students reach their IEP goals.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Support students in reaching their IEP goals
• Document progress and develop new IEP goals
• Provide instruction in math, literacy, social studies, and science
• Use data to guide and differentiate instruction

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Previous experience with special education students
• Alignment with district mission and values

✨ Nice to Have

• Valid Michigan teaching certificate with special education endorsement (SA, SB, SC, etc.)
• Previous teaching experience in an urban setting
• Training in CRPBIS, CPI, and related methodologies
