💼 About This Role

You'll own the vision and strategy for Plume's API gateway platform and developer ecosystem, building tools that enable ISP and third-party developers to integrate at scale. You'll drive the API Gateway Data Model Roadmap and grow an external developer program from the ground up. This high-visibility role combines WiFi domain expertise, standards authority, and developer advocacy to turn our platform into an open ecosystem.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define and prioritize the API Gateway Data Model Roadmap aligning with company strategy.
• Build and grow an external developer program including portals, documentation, and sandboxes.
• Author and extend TR-181 data model objects and USP protocol specifications.
• Shape git-based cookbook integration workflows and CI/CD pipelines for partner onboarding.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, firmware, cloud platform, and marketing teams.

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years in technical product management, platform engineering, or developer relations in broadband/telecom.
• Strong working knowledge of USP (TR-369), TR-069, and TR-181 data models including authoring schema definitions.
• Hands-on experience with API gateway platforms, RESTful/event-driven API design, and developer tooling (OpenAPI, Postman).
• In-depth knowledge of WiFi technologies (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be) including RF fundamentals, roaming, and mesh networking.
• Current CWNA certification required; CWSP, CWDP, or CWNE strongly preferred.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience building or scaling a developer ecosystem or partner program for a B2B infrastructure product.
• Previous active participation in a standards body (BBF, IETF, IEEE) with contributions to published specifications.
