Description

As a CNA at Bethesda, you will provide patient care support including hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination, and safety. You'll document care, take vital signs, assist with admissions, and maintain a safe environment for residents.

Requirements

• Active Certified Nurse Assistant certification in the state of work
• CPR certification or willing to obtain within six months
• High school diploma preferred
• Long-term care experience preferred
• Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients weighing 200+ lbs with assistance

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care including hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination, and safety
• Document patient care and vital signs in the record
• Answer call lights and respond to resident needs promptly
• Turn and reposition residents every 2 hours; reposition seated residents every hour
• Accurately measure intake and output; relay information to Charge Nurse
