You'll work cross-functionally to design and implement AI-powered features that deliver customer value and integrate LLMs with Vanta's existing products, shaping Vanta's AI offerings and setting technical strategy. Your core impact will be accelerating customer journeys toward compliance and trust. You'll join a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers, and security experts.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement AI-powered features for customer value
• Integrate LLMs with existing products and systems
• Instrument evaluations, guardrails, and monitoring for quality
• Mentor engineers and champion collaborative engineering culture

📋 Requirements

• 7 years of industry software engineering experience
• Experience shipping LLM-backed products with prompting, RAG, or agent frameworks
• Experience designing, building, and scaling full-stack applications including backend, APIs, and frontend
• Experience improving AI systems with eval sets and quality hill-climbing

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with TypeScript, React, and Node.js
• Experience mentoring other engineers and collaborating with product and design
• Experience at rapidly scaling startups and large companies
