You will play a key role in enabling new technologies and experiences by building robust frameworks and features. Working with product managers, designers, and backend engineers, you will solve app-wide challenges and improve the entire app's architecture, performance, and development experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Deep understanding of Android development and best practices in Kotlin/Java
• 4+ years of industry Android application development experience
• Experience in writing reliable, maintainable code used by many engineers
• Ability to use AI to improve speed and quality in daily workflow

Responsibilities

• Support millions of users and enable colleagues by ensuring excellence in shared application components
• Identify app-wide challenges, propose, test, and ship solutions
• Drive improvements like modularization, image/video loading, RTL text, dependency injection, and reusable UI components
• Solve hard-to-see user pain points such as performance, crash rates, and user metric anomalies
• Leverage AI for faster execution and automation of repeatable tasks
