💼 About This Role

You'll administer Microsoft SQL Server environments and migrate databases from SQL Server 2012 to 2016 for government clients at CGS. You'll perform performance monitoring and tuning while supporting visualization technologies like VMware and Hyper-V. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Administer Microsoft SQL Server including replication and backup/restore.
• Migrate databases from SQL Server 2012 to SQL Server 2016.
• Monitor and tune SQL performance, recommending solutions.
• Perform backups of web, application, and database servers.

📋 Requirements

• 5 years of SQL Server Database Administration experience.
• Experience with VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization.
• Knowledge of source/change control, bug tracking, SDLC, and relational databases.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience implementing and maintaining data warehouses.
• Experience with AWS RDS for PostgreSQL.
• Prior professional services or federal consulting experience.
