Description

You will provide technical leadership to build a new platform for deploying AI applications at scale using MongoDB. You'll design and implement core distributed systems infrastructure, mentor engineers, and collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality software.

Requirements

• 15+ years experience building distributed systems or foundational cloud services at scale
• Proficiency in Python, Go, and Java
• Proven success in designing, testing, debugging, and performance tuning distributed systems
• Experience leading 15-20 person projects from conception to delivery
• Good verbal and written technical communication skills

Responsibilities

• Define first version and future evolution of the service with cross-functional teams
• Design, build, and deliver well-tested core pieces of the platform
• Contribute to architecture, code reviews, and development practices
• Mentor fellow engineers
• Assume ownership and accountability of projects
