You'll design and maintain HIL test infrastructure and software tools for large-scale automated validation of autonomous aircraft systems. Your work directly impacts the speed, confidence, and quality of hardware and software development at Zipline.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and maintain HIL test infrastructure integrating real hardware with simulations.
• Develop software tools and services for large-scale automated system validation.
• Support high-throughput flight tests, from regression to off-nominal scenarios.
• Debug complex validation failures spanning simulation, hardware, and firmware.

📋 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering for safety-critical systems.
• Extensive experience in Python and test frameworks like pytest.
• Experience testing Rust and/or C embedded systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and developing test plans for complex systems.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) setups.
• Familiarity with avionics, sensors, actuators, or radios.
• Knowledge of embedded Linux systems.
