Description

As an Experienced Auto Technician at Carvana, you will perform a full range of automotive repairs—from light maintenance to heavy engine work—and diagnostics on vehicles. You'll work in a state-of-the-art inspection center, diagnosing and repairing advanced electrical issues, including on electric and hybrid vehicles, and completing repairs on systems like suspension, climate control, and axles. This role is crucial for preparing low-mileage, late-model cars for customers.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional automotive repair experience
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently
• At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment
• May be exposed to excessive weather conditions and must use safety equipment

Responsibilities

• Perform general to complex repairs on all makes and models, from timing belts and suspension to heavy engine work
• Diagnose and repair advanced vehicle electrical issues, including electric and hybrid vehicles
• Complete repairs for wheel bearings and axles
• Repair vehicle climate control systems including ACs and heater cores
