You'll serve as the critical interface between hardware architecture, facility engineering, and electronics design teams to define utility power distribution for large-scale quantum computing systems. You'll ensure power integrity, EMI mitigation, and noise suppression across facility and equipment levels. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the electrical foundation of a next-generation quantum computing facility.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Serve as primary technical interface between hardware architecture and facility engineering teams.
- Develop top-level specifications for facility electrical power systems supporting quantum hardware.
- Define power quality requirements and translate them into actionable design specifications.
- Analyze and mitigate electrical noise, harmonic distortion, and EMI interference mechanisms.
- Define grounding, bonding, shielding, and cable management strategies across facility and equipment.
📋 Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in power systems engineering for sensitive electronic or scientific facilities.
- Deep expertise in electrical noise mitigation, grounding, shielding, and EMI control.
- Experience with utility power distribution, UPS architecture, and power conditioning.
- Proven ability to interface between facility engineering and electronics design teams.
