💼 About This Role

You'll drive the understanding and development of electrochemical materials and electrodeposition processes for a private R&D lab owned by Boeing and GM. You'll translate experimental insights into scalable, real-world applications for aerospace, defense, and automotive sectors.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design hypothesis-driven experiments to probe electrochemical mechanisms
• Develop electrodeposition and electrochemical synthesis processes
• Translate findings into actionable insights for process development
• Analyze electrochemical data linking structure, properties, and performance

📋 Requirements

• PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field
• Excellent theoretical foundation in electrochemistry
• Hands-on experience with cyclic voltammetry, EIS, and chronoamperometry
• Experience with electrodeposition or electrochemical synthesis

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in semiconductor electrochemistry or energy storage
• Grant writing experience for research proposals
• Python or similar programming for data analysis
