💼 About This Role

You'll architect and build hybrid physics-ML systems for loco-manipulation on legged robots. Your work will enable sub-millimeter precision in heavy manufacturing, directly closing the skilled labor gap. This is a rare opportunity to design the technical foundation of a new team from scratch.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Set ML technical direction and architectural choices for perception, reasoning, and action generation.
• Design hybrid physics-ML architectures for whole-body loco-manipulation stack.
• Own cross-functional partnerships and drive phased deployment strategy.
• Mentor junior and intermediate engineers and establish code-quality standards.

📋 Requirements

• Ph.D. or Master's in Robotics, CS, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on robot learning experience with sim-to-real policy deployment.
• Demonstrated technical leadership in robot learning systems architecture.
• Full-stack robot learning skills: simulation, policy training, data collection, deployment.

✨ Nice to Have

• Edge inference experience (TensorRT, ONNX).
• Loco-manipulation experience on legged platforms.
• Precision manipulation or surgical robotics background.
