Description

You will join a lean legal team, taking ownership of complex commercial and regulatory matters to support Astranis's hypergrowth in the space technology sector. You'll negotiate contracts, manage compliance, and drive cross-functional initiatives that directly contribute to global connectivity.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor from ABA accredited law school and membership in at least one U.S. state bar
• 5+ years of attorney experience; mix of regulatory, law firm, and/or in-house preferred
• Direct experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
• Fluency translating legal advice into strategic guidance for business teams
• U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status required

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts (supply chain, vendor, purchase orders, subcontracts, service agreements, capacity purchase agreements, etc.)
• Manage USG contracting compliance and export compliance programs
• Undertake special projects and commercial support initiatives
