Description

You will drive the design and performance modeling of novel photonics-enabled AI systems, collaborating with product and engineering teams to create reference platforms and publish cutting-edge ML systems research. This is a creative, hands-on role where you push the boundaries of AI compute using silicon photonics.

Requirements

• PhD in CS, EE, or related field with 10+ years industry/research experience
• Solid background in ML systems research and performance evaluation/modeling
• Hands-on experience with deep learning and LLM training/inference frameworks
• Academic publications in relevant journals and conferences
• Strong knowledge of AI compute (GPUs, TPUs) and networking technologies

Responsibilities

• Model performance of Passage-enabled systems for training and inference workloads
• Collaborate with product and solutions architecture teams on reference platforms
• Function as ML expert and publish academic papers at top conferences
• Support whitepapers, blog posts, and marketing collateral
• Lead a small team of ML engineers
