Description

As an Information Systems Security Engineer SME, you will lead a team of security professionals to implement the Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle for FBI IT systems. You will oversee system categorization, security control selection, and continuous monitoring, serving as a principal advisor on cybersecurity to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years' experience
• Experience with Federal Law Enforcement customers
• Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
• Mastery of RMF lifecycle and IT system security controls
• Hold relevant certification: CISSP, CASP CE, CSSLP, CISSP-ISSEP, or CISSP-ISSAP

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of security professionals in RMF lifecycle implementation
• Guide system categorization based on mission impact and regulatory requirements
• Direct selection, tailoring, and documentation of security controls
• Oversee implementation of technical, operational, and management controls
• Prepare risk management documentation for system authorization
