You'll build AI agents for high-stakes risk and fraud decisions at Variance, a talent-dense San Francisco startup. You'll own features end-to-end, from backend to polished UI, and partner directly with founders on frontier problems.

• Build and ship features end-to-end with rapid iteration cycles.
• Work across the stack to turn ambiguous problems into reliable products.
• Partner directly with founders on large-scale, frontier problems.
• Design systems where AI balances precision, speed, and user trust.

📋 Requirements

• 1-3 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong craftsmanship and opinions on building high-quality products.
• Comfortable with React/Next.js, TypeScript, MySQL, or ClickHouse.
• End-to-end ownership from backend to UI to production.
