💼 About This Role

You'll join the public affairs team at ALEC, supporting outreach campaigns and report releases. You'll gain hands-on experience in strategic communication and media engagement. This internship includes a 2-day in-person summit in Arlington, VA.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Execute outreach campaigns targeting legislators and media
• Assist with report releases and op-ed placement
• Write speeches and letters to the editor
• Support digital advocacy and videography efforts

📋 Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in political science, journalism, or related field
• Background or coursework in public relations or marketing
• Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Available Thursdays 1-4pm ET for virtual training
