💼 About This Role

You'll lead Applied Intuition's global privacy and AI governance program and serve as a key legal partner to Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market. Your work will directly shape the responsible development and deployment of physical AI across autonomous systems. This role offers deep involvement in cutting-edge AI regulatory compliance and a front-row seat to the future of autonomy.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own and operationalize the global privacy program across the company
• Lead AI governance strategy, policy development, and implementation
• Advise Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams on privacy and responsible AI
• Conduct privacy and AI impact assessments and support regulatory compliance

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of law firm and/or in-house experience with substantial privacy focus
• Deep experience advising on GDPR and CCPA/CPRA compliance programs
• Experience with cross-border data transfer mechanisms including SCCs and adequacy frameworks
• Experience with AI regulatory requirements including the EU AI Act or similar frameworks

✨ Nice to Have

• CIPP/E, CIPP/US, or equivalent privacy certification
• Experience with autonomous systems and sensor data
• Experience spanning both law firm and in-house practice
