💼 About This Role

You'll work as a Forward Deployed Engineer integrating Ditto's peer-to-peer sync engine into mission-critical U.S. military systems. You'll act as the technical bridge between operational users and core product engineering, solving real-time data challenges in disconnected environments.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead design and deployment of custom **ATAK plugins** integrating sync capabilities.
• Architect Android-native applications for tactical DIL environments.
• Own end-to-end integration design with the TAK ecosystem.
• Diagnose and resolve data-flow issues on end-user devices in real time.

📋 Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with production applications.
• 2+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin/Java.
• Prior experience with ATAK plugin development or deep TAK ecosystem knowledge.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with CRDTs or local-first architectures.
• Familiarity with tactical networking (MANET, mesh).
• Background in Backend development (Go, Rust, Python).
