💼 About This Role

You'll own the hardware design practices at Flux, building the first AI Hardware Engineer. You'll shape ECAD tool capabilities and AI training datasets, enabling users to create successful PCBs on the first production run. This high-impact role spans product strategy, team building, and hands-on prototyping.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Drive ECAD feature design and specify core behaviors
  • Teach AI models hardware design best practices and evaluate outputs
  • Build and manage the Hardware Design function and team
  • Lead quick-turn prototypes from schematic to bring-up

📋 Requirements

  • RF & wireless design experience: sub-GHz to mmWave
  • High-speed digital design: DDRx, PCIe/SerDes, USB-C
  • ECAD tooling fluency: Altium, Cadence, KiCad, or similar
  • Product sense and ability to translate user needs into workflows

✨ Nice to Have

  • Experience shipping hardware at scale in a large tech org
  • Mass production and quality/yield optimization experience
  • Prior customer-facing role (PM, applications, FAE)
