Description

You will maintain and optimize Akuna Capital's global low-latency trading network, collaborating with trading, IT, and development teams to configure and troubleshoot infrastructure. You'll be the sole network resource during core hours, ensuring stability of critical systems, and will provide evening/weekend support and travel to data centers.

Requirements

• Active CCNP certification with desire to achieve CCIE
• Strong background in low-latency IP networking
• Self-motivated with excellent multitasking skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced electronic trading environment

Responsibilities

• Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure in collaboration with trading, IT, and development teams
• Provide day-to-day support of network and application environments, including port configuration and cabling
• Support evening/weekend maintenance and travel to data centers as required
• Evaluate new technology and improve all aspects of infrastructure with other engineers
