You'll join a federal government team processing FOIA requests, drafting correspondence, and negotiating releases. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Receive and analyze FOIA requests and prepare case folders.
• Draft response letters and other FOIA correspondence.
• Negotiate with requesters and agency staff on record releases.
• Review documents for responsiveness and apply exemptions.

📋 Requirements

• Six years experience processing FOIA requests.
• Knowledge of FOIA exemptions b(4), b(5), b(6).
• Experience redacting records with trade secrets.
• Ability to obtain a government security clearance.

✨ Nice to Have

• Prior federal government experience.
• Experience with FOIA EXPRESS or SecureRelease.
• Active security clearance.
