💼 About This Role

You'll join the founding Agent Engineering team to ensure Prophet's AI agent delivers outcomes in real customer environments. You'll debug detection misses, fix integration issues, and build workflows that connect the dots across a customer's security stack. This role combines deep engineering with direct customer collaboration to shape how AI transforms security operations.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end technical delivery for customers from discovery through deployment.
• Debug Prophet's AI agent in production customer environments.
• Build fixes through prompt engineering, behavior design, or integration configuration.
• Spot patterns across deployments and drive root-cause recommendations into Product and Engineering.
• Partner with Customer Success, GTM, and Engineering to remove blockers and align on scope.

📋 Requirements

• You write strong Python or Go and can ship in production environments.
• Energized by figuring out why something is broken in unfamiliar systems.
• Comfortable communicating with non-Engineering stakeholders.
• Built products or features where real users gave direct feedback.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in security operations, detection engineering, or incident response.
• Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, or agentic workflows.
• Founder or early-stage (first 10 engineers) experience.
