Description

You will support operations at the Patuxent River Data Center, maintaining the integrity, availability, and security of mission-critical systems across DoD networks. You will ensure systems are patched and configured according to security baselines, resolve incidents, and contribute to projects involving diverse systems and applications.

Requirements

• Top Secret clearance required to start
• 5+ years relevant IT experience
• Security+ or equivalent IAT Level II certification
• Proficient with RHEL 8/9 and Solaris
• Experience with AWS core services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, SSM)

Responsibilities

• Support OS and security patching across multiple DoD enclaves
• Mentor and guide junior UNIX/Linux System Administrators
• Design and implement Unix/Linux-based solutions with data center teams
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and BASH scripts
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues involving apps, hardware, OS, and storage
