💼 About This Role

You'll join MongoDB's Server Security team to build features that secure data globally. You'll lead investigations into complex areas of the codebase and apply distributed systems fundamentals to deliver core security features. This role offers the chance to work on cryptography, authentication, and network security at scale.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and test new security features in a large C++ codebase
• Coordinate feature rollouts across engineering and cloud teams
• Stand for code quality and security best practices
• Solve technical issues in distributed systems and OS internals

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building distributed systems
• Proficiency in a compiled language (C++, Rust, Go, Java, or similar)
• Understanding of modern computer architecture and internals
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
