Description

As the Director of Data Science, Patient, you will lead the data science organization that helps Headway build an extraordinarily successful consumer brand and patient marketplace, with a relentless focus on measurable growth and patient impact. You'll partner with senior leaders across Product, Growth Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Clinical to set standards and direction for evaluating acquisition, conversion, retention, and outcomes.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading data science teams in a high-growth environment.
• Deep expertise in performance marketing measurement, including channel performance, attribution, and causal measurement.
• Strong ability to partner with senior leaders across product, marketing, and operations.
• Track record of building and scaling high-performing data science teams.
• Experience in consumer healthcare or marketplace businesses is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Shape a world-class patient product experience by partnering with product, engineering, and operations to improve discovery, conversion, and cures.
• Build the patient growth and marketing analytics engine, owning analytics strategy for consumer acquisition and performance marketing.
• Run a high-velocity learning system by establishing a rigorous experimentation culture across marketing and product.
• Scale an elite team by leading, coaching, and developing data scientists and managers.
• Own standards for truth and clarity by defining metric standards across the patient funnel.
