Description

As a school-based Registered Behavior Technician, you will work directly with students with Autism and other developmental disabilities, implementing behavior therapy techniques and collecting data to support their success in the classroom. You'll collaborate with teachers and school teams to help students build independence and achieve their goals.

Requirements

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certified or desire to pursue certification
• At least 18 years of age
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree OR 48 college credits including Math 100 and English 100 OR passage of ParaPro Praxis assessment

Responsibilities

• Work directly with students in the classroom following the established service plan
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients and school teams
• Implement behavior therapy techniques and collaborate with teachers
• Document interventions and progress towards goals
• Collect behavior data as specified in client behavior plan
