💼 About This Role

You'll work with autonomy and runtime teams to improve the autonomous software stack for PlusAI's driverless trucks. You'll design fault detection strategies and optimize performance. This role offers a chance to impact autonomous vehicle technology in a hybrid environment at a Fast Company-recognized innovator.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Integrate and optimize autonomous software components into the redundant platform.
• Design and develop fault detection and handling strategies for the redundant platform.
• Develop validation strategies including on-vehicle testing, SiL and HiL simulation.
• Evaluate and integrate partner middleware into the autonomous driving stack.

📋 Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Hands-on experience with high-performance IPC/middleware stacks.
• Familiarity with CUDA, OpenCL, OpenVX, Halide, or other SIMD programming models.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with ROS2 and DDS.
• Experience with QNX.
• Experience with automotive HPC SoCs (Nvidia preferred).
