Description

You will analyze, design, and build cryogenic propellant processing and generation systems for Starship launch sites, taking cradle-to-grave ownership of projects from design review through construction and commissioning. You'll work hands-on with technicians to troubleshoot and iterate, maintaining a tight feedback loop with operations to meet tight deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, aerospace, or other engineering discipline
• 1+ years of hands-on build or design experience (internship or competition team qualifies)
• Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and in extreme outdoor environments
• Must pass Air Force background check for Cape Canaveral
• Willing to travel up to 15%

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and build systems supporting rocket launches and testing
• Host design reviews, justify decisions, procure equipment, and assist construction
• Apply interdisciplinary engineering in process design, fluid/thermal analysis, structural engineering, and cost/schedule optimization
• Work directly with technicians to build designs and fix real-world problems on the fly
• Activate, commission, and troubleshoot equipment to achieve design objectives and reduce downtime
