You'll shape the full employee lifecycle at Drew University, from recruitment to offboarding. You'll build trust through employee relations and drive culture, capability, and connection across campus. This role offers exposure to all HR functions and the chance to lead key initiatives like onboarding and performance management.

๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Coordinate recruitment from posting to hire with equitable practices
  • Lead new hire orientation and conduct check-ins at 30/90/180 days
  • Manage position descriptions, FLSA analysis, and compensation adjustments
  • Serve as first point for employee relations, performance management, and investigations

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of relevant HR experience in recruitment and employee relations
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms and applicant tracking systems

โœจ Nice to Have

  • Experience in higher education environment
  • Experience with Banner and/or BambooHR
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent)
