Description

You will serve as the Industrial Engineering authority for radar system development and production, architecting scalable production systems from prototype through full-rate production. You'll lead production rate modeling, capacity planning, cost optimization, and DFMA integration to drive producibility and manufacturing readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related STEM field
• 3–7+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, or complex electromechanical production
• Demonstrated experience in production rate modeling, capacity planning, and factory flow optimization
• Demonstrated experience implementing DFMA principles
• U.S. Citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Develop factory production models for radar subsystems and full system integration
• Design optimal production flow including line layout, station balancing, and takt time definition
• Lead structured DFMA reviews during concept, PDR, CDR, and pre-production gates
• Develop rate ramp models and create capacity plans based on labor content and equipment cycle time
• Develop bottoms-up cost models and conduct make vs. buy analysis
