Description

As a Medical Assistant at One Medical, you will provide venipuncture and clinical support services to patients, primarily seniors. You'll ensure a seamless in-office experience by managing patient intake, scheduling, and follow-ups, while also performing lab duties and contributing to team development.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with technology (Slack, G-suite, EMR systems)

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection on patients of all ages
• Conduct EKGs, vitals, ear lavages, vaccines, PPD tests, and swabs
• Handle front desk duties including check-in/check-out and insurance verification
• Maintain lab inventory, sterilization, and specimen labeling/handling
• Support providers with clerical tasks and participate in team huddles
