💼 About This Role

You'll join PsiQuantum's System-Architecture team to define digital-logic systems for a silicon photonics quantum computer. You'll implement low-latency algorithms in FPGAs and collaborate with physicists and digital designers. This role offers the chance to work on utility-scale quantum computing with a clear path to commercial impact.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Translate high-level abstract requirements into concrete hardware requirements
• Devise and implement low-latency algorithms for time-critical tasks
• Integrate algorithms into FPGAs with digital-design experts
• Implement cycle-accurate Python models matching SystemVerilog implementations

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• 5+ years of relevant digital design experience
• SystemVerilog (or VHDL) for design and simulation
• FPGA experience (Xilinx preferred)

✨ Nice to Have

• Distributed system experience with real-time event correlation
• High Level Synthesis tools (e.g., Xilinx Vitis)
• Python for verification (Cocotb)
