Description

You will serve as the primary legal partner to HR, advising on employment matters across the employee lifecycle, managing litigation, and providing practical counsel to business leaders.

Requirements

• 6+ years employment law experience (in-house or law firm)
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws
• Experience managing a varied caseload with competing priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• J.D. from accredited law school and active bar membership

Responsibilities

• Serve as legal contact for HR on all employment-related matters
• Advise on compliance with federal and state employment laws
• Manage litigation and pre-litigation matters (ADA, discrimination, wage and hour, restrictive covenants)
• Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements and policies
• Partner with outside counsel and manage relationships
