You'll embed reliability and scalability into Strava's engineering foundation by optimizing Kubernetes clusters and cloud infrastructure. You'll support 150+ million athletes while enabling product teams to ship features with confidence. This role combines building and enabling, creating tools that empower engineers.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Create and operate infrastructure from data stores to deployment tooling
• Develop software that empowers engineering colleagues
• Participate in on-call rotation for production systems
• Collaborate across teams to drive platform standards

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of infrastructure engineering experience with cloud platform development
• Passion for building reliable, scalable, and observable platforms
• Proven ability to collaborate across engineering teams and drive adoption
• Experience with AWS or another cloud provider

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes at scale
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Helm, and GitOps
• Knowledge of network security including VPC design and service mesh
