💼 About This Role

You'll design, build, and maintain the foundational infrastructure and internal platforms that empower all of Plaid's engineering teams to move quickly and safely. Your work will ensure scalable, reliable, and secure systems handling millions of requests per day. You'll collaborate cross-functionally to ship new features and maintain operational excellence.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and maintain core platform services with focus on performance and scalability.
• Develop infrastructure for data storage and processing to handle growing needs.
• Create tools and automation to improve developer productivity and efficiency.
• Integrate security and privacy best practices into platform services.

📋 Requirements

• 2-4 years of software engineering experience building complex backend systems.
• Proficiency in at least one language like Go, Python, Java, or C++.
• Experience designing and operating distributed systems or microservices at scale.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Go programming language.
• Experience building data pipelines or using big data frameworks like Spark or Databricks.
• Experience with TiDB.
