Description

In this role, you will coordinate patient testing by scheduling blood collections, performing venipunctures, managing paperwork, and ensuring compliance. You will collaborate with customers and sales teams to facilitate an efficient ordering process and timely reporting of results.

Requirements

• Strong critical thinking and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently
• Experience with phlebotomy and specimen handling
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and CLIA standards
• Proficient in administrative tasks and communication

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures to obtain blood specimens
• Verify patient identity and test requisitions, cross-referencing EMR records
• Track collected specimens and maintain daily logs
• Coordinate patient care services including scheduling and aligning blood draws
• Act as primary liaison for accounts and sales, resolving issues and maintaining TAT
