Description

You will execute 2D, 2.5D and 3D compositing in Nuke for high-frame rate, ultra-high-resolution spherical content, ensuring deliverables meet standards for color accuracy and image quality. You'll assist in refining compositing pipelines, collaborate with cross-departmental teams, and troubleshoot complex issues like synchronization errors and lens distortions.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years professional VFX Compositor experience in feature film, television, or large-format production
• Advanced proficiency in Nuke: 2D compositing (keying, rotoscoping, CG integration, deep compositing, AOV workflows)
• 3D compositing within Nuke’s 3D environment
• Experience with full-dome, VR, 360/180 or similar large-format spherical content workflows
• Strong technical understanding of ST Maps, image warping, color/coordinate space transformations, camera/lens artifact correction

Responsibilities

• Execute 2D/2.5D/3D compositing in Nuke using defined templates
• Ensure deliverables meet Sphere’s color, resolution, and image quality standards
• Assist in refining compositing pipelines, review processes, and delivery protocols
• Collaborate with Compositing Supervisor and cross-departmental teams
• Diagnose and resolve synchronization errors, rolling shutter, parallax, compression artifacts, and lens/camera distortions
