You'll lead Esper's new business revenue engine, scaling sales in state and local government. You'll close strategic deals while building a high-performing team. This player-coach role offers the chance to shape go-to-market strategy at an early-stage govtech company.
๐ฏ What You'll Do
- Recruit, onboard, and coach a growing team of AEs and SDRs
- Own new business revenue targets and deliver forecasts
- Personally close high-value deals ($150Kโ$2M+) with government clients
- Build repeatable sales processes, playbooks, and qualification frameworks
๐ Requirements
- 7-10+ years B2G sales experience
- 3+ years in sales leadership or management
- Proven track record selling to state and local government
- Experience managing $150Kโ$2M+ enterprise deals
โจ Nice to Have
- Federal Government sales experience
- Experience in govtech, regtech, or legaltech
- Familiarity with cooperative purchasing vehicles
