💼 About This Role

You'll lead the development of new manufacturing processes for a novel linear generator at a rapidly scaling clean energy startup. You will design high-precision tooling and equipment, collaborate cross-functionally, and deploy solutions into production while driving quality and cost optimization.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design 3D CAD models and 2D fabrication drawings for fixtures and tools
• Lead DOE, PFMEA, and process validation studies
• Develop equipment specifications, RFQs, and manage procurement
• Train production staff and hand off equipment to operations

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Mechatronics Engineering
• 5+ years experience in electromechanical equipment design and FAT/SAT
• Proficiency in 3D CAD (Solidworks ideal) and GD&T
• Hands-on ability to supervise assembly, wiring, and machine shop tasks

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with statistical tools like JMP or Minitab
• Knowledge of process validation testing (Cpk, GR&R)
