Description

Lead the systems engineering team to develop and optimize processes for Terran R, ensuring technical rigor and fast-paced development. You will manage engineers, drive verification activities, and mentor teams while collaborating across disciplines to reduce risk and shape the vehicle's lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical field
• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, system definition, design, development, or integration
• Full product lifecycle experience on at least one program, preferably two (concept through production/operations)
• Proven ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing needs and requirements
• Previous people leadership experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Work with engineering leadership to align systems engineering tools and processes with responsible engineers' needs
• Create and roll out new processes while streamlining or eliminating ineffective ones to support launch ramp rate
• Manage a team driving systems engineering processes and reducing subsystem/component risk for stage testing
• Ensure verification activities occur at the right time and burn down risk prior to stage testing
• Align subsystem test objectives with affected parties and ensure proper capture
