💼 About This Role

You'll bring together firmware and hardware subsystems for 3D printing products at Formlabs, collaborating with design teams to overcome cross-disciplinary problems. Your core impact is ensuring prototypes work optimally and shipping quality products. This role spans the full product development cycle, from early R&D to continuing engineering.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Integrate firmware and hardware subsystems into a working system
• Partner with system architect to document systems and interfaces
• Manage subsystem-level requirements and track changes
• Design and execute test plans to validate requirements

📋 Requirements

• Experience designing complex electro-mechanical systems
• Knowledge of motion control, sensors, and control algorithms
• Experience managing system and subsystem requirements
• Scripting experience with Python, LabView, or Matlab

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with low-level embedded firmware (C++ preferred)
• Experience in data analysis and reporting
• Experience with consumer electronics
