Description

You will lead the Trade Accounting and Operations team, overseeing daily reconciliations, settlements, and fund accounting for hedge funds. You'll drive strategic partnerships with clients and stakeholders, manage global team processes, and collaborate with technology teams on automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

10+ years of work experience in fund accounting and operations for listed and OTC instruments.
At least 3-4 years in a team leadership or managerial role.
In-depth domain knowledge of multiple asset classes.
Strong project management skills and effective managerial ability.
Expertise in automation, process re-engineering, and cross-functional project delivery.

Responsibilities

Lead daily trade, position, swap MTMs, and cash reconciliations against prime brokers, custodians, and administrators.
Provide operational oversight, escalation management, and set performance goals for team members.
Drive strategic partnerships with investment managers, prime brokers, and administrators to resolve exceptions and enhance efficiency.
Oversee accounting close process (daily/weekly/monthly) including NAV package preparation.
Collaborate cross-functionally with pricing, middle office, and collateral management teams to resolve discrepancies.
