You'll lead building systems electrical design for a Chantilly, VA-based engineering team, owning projects from concept through closeout. Your core impact is delivering compliant, high-quality designs for lighting, power, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems. This role stands out for its emphasis on mentoring junior engineers and direct client interaction.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead electrical design projects from concept through completion
• Perform site assessments and document existing conditions
• Design lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, and telecom systems
• Prepare specifications, construction documents, and RFI responses

📋 Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program
• Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
• 10+ years of relevant electrical design experience

✨ Nice to Have

• Active Secret or Top Secret clearance
• CDT certification (Construction Specifications Institute)
• LEED AP or RCDD certification
