Description

You will drive SpaceX's regulatory and policy strategy for the Starlink Mobile satellite network, focusing on telecommunications regulations, spectrum, and satellite policy. This role requires technical fluency, creativity, and strategic communication to advance licensing and spectrum positions with international regulators and government bodies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years experience in policy or at a technology company
• 3+ years experience in telecommunications policy or regulatory role in wireless/mobile industry
• Expert knowledge of technology and policy issues for wireless and/or satellite companies
• Willingness to travel 30-40% and work weekends/extended hours

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory strategy and policy development for accelerated timelines
• Advocate to optimize satellite and telecoms regulatory frameworks
• Develop broadband and mobile spectrum policies to further business objectives
• Represent company positions in international fora, regulatory agencies, and industry forums
• Develop advocacy pieces incorporating technical analysis with technical leads
