Description

You will design and support outside plant telecommunications infrastructure, including copper and fiber networks for FTTH, DSL, Metro-E, and SONET. You'll prepare engineering plans, conduct field measurements, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure projects meet technical and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Experience designing OSP telecom infrastructure
• Knowledge of fiber and copper network engineering standards
• Experience with right-of-way and permitting processes
• Familiarity with NESC and telecom construction practices
• Proficiency with CAD systems and field engineering tools

Responsibilities

• Perform OSP engineering for copper and fiber networks
• Develop designs for poles, conduit routes, and buried facilities
• Track project budgets and compare costs
• Prepare permit packages and maintain documentation
