💼 About This Role

You'll lead 5G NR PHY software design for real-time performance-critical algorithms on heterogeneous SoC platforms. You'll integrate with RF, DSP, and hardware teams to deliver advanced connectivity solutions. This role focuses on PHY implementation and RF/SoC integration in an onsite Duisburg, Germany setting.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement 5G NR PHY algorithms on SoC platforms
• Integrate PHY software with RF front-end and baseband chains
• Develop real-time embedded software with strict latency requirements
• Create test cases and validate PHY functionality with test equipment

📋 Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Communications Engineering
• 5+ years of embedded C/C++ software engineering experience
• Strong background in 5G NR PHY and digital communications theory
• Experience with SDR platforms and SoC architectures

✨ Nice to Have

• Deep understanding of 3GPP 5G NR PHY specifications Rel 15/16/17
• Experience with NTN and satellite communications
• Experience implementing PHY algorithms on DSPs and hardware accelerators
