Description

You will lead the full hardware development lifecycle for Shift5's Intake product team, designing and testing electrical boards to military and aerospace standards. This role involves owning PCB design, prototyping, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver resilient hardware for mission-critical OT data in defense and commercial fleets.

Requirements

• 3+ years schematic design of circuit boards to military standards
• Proficient with test equipment: oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers
• Strong skills in Electrical CAD (Altium preferred) and FPGA board design
• Experience in regulated environments with MIL-STD-810, 461, 704, 1275, DO-160
• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field

Responsibilities

• Lead full hardware development lifecycle from component selection to PCB design and layout
• Design and test electrical boards to MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461 standards
• Partner with interdisciplinary teams to create compact, cost-effective assemblies
• Build and test prototypes to meet strict safety and performance specs
• Navigate AS9100/ISO9001 certified environment and adhere to IPC standards
