Description

As a member of the Space Surveillance R&D team, you will design sensing systems, develop software/hardware interfaces, and create algorithms for detecting and tracking satellites and space debris. You'll work on modeling, simulation, and autonomous observatory software to make space safer and more secure.

Responsibilities

• Design sensing systems for space surveillance applications
• Develop software/hardware interfaces for ground- and space-based sensor systems
• Develop state-of-the-art detection, calibration, and mount control algorithms
• Perform modeling, simulation, and analysis of sensor network capabilities
• Develop robust software to autonomously operate remote observatories
